State Attorney's General Office California
I am going to file a complaint to the State Attorney's General Office - RC (RingCentral) Claims to be located in California.
Please make all of your complaints to the Attorney's Office because the BBB is NOT the 1-stop for complaints.
The State Attorney General's Office will contact them and force them to show proof and if they believe this company is predatory they will proceed to shut them down.
All of their Reps are in the Philippines and you could NEVER, EVER, speak with anyone from the U.S.
Switch your plain without consent - charge your card without consent. I want them to have to ANSWER to the Attorney General's Office. It's SIMPLE to make a complaint to them.
Do Not hesitate to file your complaints now!!!

We was assigned Theresa Maria Borbe as our acct. manager.
We have tried calling her and leaving messages on numerous occasions with no return calls at all. Tech Support has basically been useless. Noone there seems to be able to fix an issue without transferring calls to multiple agents and spending anything less than an hour on a call. The person that signed us up was Nell Bryan Buhat.
I have also tried contacting him with no luck. He had us to do our onboarding training before our equipment ever arrived. After all these months we still dont know fully how the equipment operates and have had one issue after another. On top of that I get a phone call and email from a Katherine Alvaro saying she was our new account executive.
I called her back no answer reply or phone call back. Then was told some other lady named Maria I believe would be our account executive. I set up a 130 time to speak with her 10/3/2023. Guess what NO CALL!
This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.
NOBODY cares at all. I would never recommend this company and if I could give anything less than a 1 star I definitely would.

I have never had contact with a company that treated non-paying customers better than potential paying customers. RC offered free top-tier service for the past two years due to COVID-19 and my company and me are very grateful for that opportunity.
As that opportunity was coming to an end, I attempted to navigate the maze of different phone numbers required to downgrade my service because it is only myself and a contractor in my office. I was able to get a change in service submitted, but they said that they needed my permission to do so by replying to an email, which I did within the 30 day window provided.
Meanwhile, they then suspended my account, refuse to honor the changes that they said they would make, flat out refuse to work with me to resolve the matter, and are now holding my phone number hostage until I pay them $6000 for service I don't even want at this point. I have no problem paying for my share, or even for a month of unnecessary top-tier service to port out my numbers, but to want $6000 and refuse to work with a customer is dumbfoundingly poor service, and is now an extreme detriment to my business.
Preferred solution: I have no problem paying for a month of service to port out my numbers, but such an excessive amount is not going to happen.

Look at notes in my account, there should be plenty! I purchased a toll free number and signed up for your service, (855) BIG-DOGG.
It took me a while to set it up because I didnt need it right away and in the beginning your staff kept canceling or not calling for set up calls to get started. When I did, I found out the number I paid for above is no where in existence and your staff gave me some random number I cant use. I paid thousands in marketing with the custom number I paid for and now cant use it because you guys didnt give me the number I paid for. Ive been paying every month and now I want my service canceled and EVERY PENNY I have ever paid refunded to me because you did not provide me with any service and cant furnish the vanity number I paid for and signed up for.
I have been ignored by your *** staff and promised call after call and resolution after resolution and never receive calls back or any resolution.
Your company could care less about resolving this so, this is my final attempt to get you to resolve this effort I take the next stage and get VERY LOUD!!! I want 100% of my money refunded immediately!!

Every July is my Annual contract w/ RC since 2015. I found better value in another VOIP, and transitioned out in August.
I eamailed my Account Mgr (RC asks everything goes thru AcMgr) to cancel the contract later in Aug. I get billed again in Sept, and he now tells me that I need to call in to cancel. I'm on Day 31 after the Annual Date and they won't cancel the contract.
I have written email threads showing the Acct Mgr communication NEGLECT to inform me to call in to cancel.
In searching around it seems to be that other RC Clients are having Customer Service issues now? Its a different company than back in 2015 when I signed up!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
However, as happens from time to time, the business didn't work out the way I intended and I obviously wanted to spare myself the bleeding, so I contacted customer service to cancel. Upon doing so, I was was told about early termination blah blah blah and then the number $730 to cancel... Otherwise, I am under contract for another year and a half, wow! Even after explaining twice the reason for cancellation, there was still nothing they could do.
Upon being transferred to a supervisor, I was on hold for a very extensive time before throwing my hands in the air and giving up (which is apparently what they want you to do).
Even if this is somehow legal for a company to do this, it certainly is an ethical. Word to the wise, stay away!

Poor Customer Service
RingCentral Customer Service is the worst of the worst I have ever experienced. A minimum of 10 phone calls (daily for 3 weeks) at 1 hr + each to resolve dropped calls on my business phone system- completely outrageous!
Very unprofessional. I had the customer service team drop my call after waiting on the line 45 mins. I could get NOBODY excited about the fact that my business could not receive incoming calls. I could not get a supervisor to talk with me- they were afraid to get involved and left the poor front-line employees out on their own.
Nobody called back when they said they would. They lied repeatedly about callbacks. They were not interested - and showed zero urgency about- getting the issue resolved.
3 weeks later they decided to present a solution, as they casually presented me with "options". A living nightmare!Stay away from Ringcentral
