well if you are a customer of ring central and have multiple lines with them odds are you run a whole in the wall pdl debt collection agency buying the cheapest recycled portfolios you can get your hands on. im pretty sure that you have a bunch of degenerates under your employ, well because you the principal of that whole in the wall office tucked away in a boiler room are yourself the chief retard.

Single line users do not get 24/7/365 tech support, overpriced for full business package

I've had tons of problems with this company. The only reason I'm still with them is because I've had legal issues where I need the call logs for evidence. I'm trapped and hate it. It seems over the past couple of years almost every month I have problems with the service.. As soon as my legal issues are over, I'm gone. What I'll discuss now can be of crucial importance to small business single line users. They've stopped 24/7/365 tech support to single line users. They now only offer tech support during their regular business hours. Many of us smaller business can work into the night because of time differences across the country and work weekends. We need our phones. If the service has a critical problem outside of their schedule we lose sales. Yes, VoIP business phone services are less expensive than land land line based services but you can easily find other services that offer full packages that are less expensive than Ring Central and that also provide 24/7/365 tech support. Shop a bit more and check the price for full packages.

Find another VoIP provider. These guys will scam you.

I accidentally opened the call log for only faxes and was shocked how many fax receipts errors there were. I suggest anyone who has it currently do the same. Mine at the time turned out to be only roughly 11% of faxes received. I'd had problems with them all along but never realized how bad it was. While trying to resolve this issue they said their system does not work well with fax machines. Aren't most faxes users out there still using machines or all in ones?

It took them months to have any success resolving the issue and I'm still not sure it's fixed since my clients avoid using fax with me now. I have no idea how much business I lost. They should have refunded me for the fax portion of my service for the entire period I'd been using it but only gave me 6 months of free service which they really did not give. They billed me anyway and I had to ask for a refund each time and stated that I had to do this each month. So they illegally took money they were not entitled to and made me request it back. It could take as much as 5 days to get your money back unless you raise a real stink over it. If you miss the charge or for any other reason don't request your money back they keep it.

Also, it can take as long as 10 to 15 minutes to reach someone to speak to for tech support or billing questions. If you are a single line user you will not receive technical support nights and weekends. Most of the small business owners I know work all sorts of hours. This is especially true now with the internet and people contacting us at all hour and us wanting that business. If you have service problems you don't want to be down at any time and have no access to support.

Their online knowledge base is terribly organized. The answer may be their but only a very small proportion of the time will you be able to find your answer there.

Here's my suggestion. Check your faxes in your call logs. You can get only them by going to your fax extension and this will leave out all other calls. Go back as far as you can. I believe it will be to the beginning of the prior year. If you were part of the problem, you'll find you received a very low proportion of your incoming faxes. that might have changed a few months ago but prior to that you were not getting the service you had the right too. I am consulting with a top firm interested in this case for a class action. If you were a victim of this poor service, and interested in joining a suit, contact me at wingerone@***.com. Also, if you've ever been promised free service, check your card they bill to and see if your service was actually free. If they charged you, this firm is also looking into this. As with the fax service, if you've been charged for free service and interested in joining a suit, contact me at wingerone@***.com. Again, please put Ring Central poor service in the subject.

Find another VoIP provider. These guys are a joke and scam artists. Oh and there are other providers with better price but just 24/7 support makes another provider's service worthwhile. Not having to worry if you're being scammed also makes it worthwhile.

Worst customer service ever!

Our business experienced issues with the fax service so we called customer service. They asked our security question and we explained that the person who set up the account is longer employed with us. They proceeded to explain that without that information they could not help us. I explained that we were a business and asked if there was another away to verify our account. They said yes if we would update our credit card information then they could reset the password. NOT TRUE! we gave them a credit card and not only did we NOT receive a receipt they will not provide us with a duplicate because it is available online. However if you don't know the password you can't sign on as Administrator of the account to get a receipt. Ring Central refuses to offer any type of resolution to our on going problems. BIG MISTAKE!

Ongoing unresolved problems with service since the beginning

I chose RingCentral because it seemed like the best price for the features that I was looking for. Since I began with them 5 years ago, there have been countless problems. Unfortunately, changing services is a huge ordeal because this number has been declared as my business number with soooo many companies. To change companies is a huge undertaking. But the service is okay at best. Too often I run into compatability issues with other VOIP services which everyone is going to. Plus, you never get an American for customer service. It's always someone from the Phillipines with a thick accent. Tier 1 support which is what you get when you call is useless. Compare them to high school dropouts that don't know anything but how to read a script. Then you wait hours to get what they call level 2 support. Sometimes they are clueless and I have to demand a supervisor. The web interface is antiquated and makes NO sense at all. Closing business one day is a PITA to change the messaging or call flow. Bottom line, this business is in its infancy and cannot handle the volume or issues they are facing.

Ring Central lack of service

Have had same issue month after month with no feedback or reply to correct 2 line phone issues. Ring central cannot make two phone in same office operate together. After 4 months they now tell me it requires a 3rd phone line. It has worked for one month but stops and I have to wait on hold at least 15-30 mi9nutes each customer service call . I have contacted sales office no replies ,ignored . Was told I would have it fixed in 48 hrs , still no reply. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS. REPEAT DON GET USE THEM!

Fax service didn't work and cancellation was almost impossible!!!

We signed up for two fax service accounts. They were porting in one old number for one account, and created a new number for the other account. They created a "dummy" account/fax number for the one that was being ported in. It too awhile to get the accounts up and running. The next issue was that the service did not work as promised it would. We had MANY service report created, they tried to fix the issue, but never could. We decided to find another email fax provider as we needed access to this type of service. The new provider ported both of the account away from Ring Central. However, Ring Central wasn't smart enough to correlate the real fax number with the "dummy" number they created. This left that number active. I called in to cancel the accounts back in August 2014. A nightmare ensued! I called back in October, and again in December. Finally in December one of the accounts was closed down. I did not realize that the "dummy" account was still active until they charged my credit card in April 2015. I called back on 4/6/2015 to find out why the charge, and that is how I learned about their mistake. I was promised a refund for the recent charge, but they will not do anything about the other months of service they collected payment on where there were no services rendered. They don't have record of my calls, so even though I have dates and who I spoke to, they say the calls to close the account didn't happen. Another other issue is that they claim that porting the number out, which means they don't have access to the phone/fax number any longer, does not count as closing the account. I know that with any other phone service providers (cell or home) consider the account closed once they release the number, and they stop billing immediately. I will be contacting an attorney to see if their practice is legal, and may look into starting a class action suit on behalf of all customers that may have been billed for services after this company released the number to another provider.

RingCentral = TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

After spending $345.00 for two Yealink phones from RingCentral, five days later and 15 man hours, we are still unable to use the phones. RingCentral takes FOREVER for their "support" to answer! After approximately one hour on hold at each attempt to reach tech support, and speaking with three different support people, the phones still do not work. Their explanation is that Federal Express has not advised RingCentral that the order has delivered, even though we have the phones. Are you FREAKING kidding? This is supposed to be a high tech solution, WTF????? In summary, we have no phones, and we are out $345.00! AVOID RingCentral like the plague. All of their support is outsourced to India or some other non-English speaking; furthermore their support staff doesn't even work 100% for the company. This company is a freaking joke!!!!!!

I SUSPENDED SERVICE WITH THIS PHONE COMPANY WHO CONTINUES TO CHARGE MY CARD EVEN THOUGH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY REVERSES IT. THIS IS FRAUD. THEY AGREE TO NEW SERVICE, WHEN THEY GET MY CARD # THEY SLAM IT FOR EVERYTHING THEY CAN. THEY OWE ME $86. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS AGAIN. PLEASE TELL THEM TO REVERSE THE CHARGE I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM. Ring Central is a scam where they tell you it is a free trial with now strings attached and then charge you and it is almost impossible to cancel the service. A complete joke!!! The person we dealt with goes by the name of Leon and was very misleading. He convinced me he needed our card details to set up a one time transaction of which he would refund us straight away to which he did. A month later they took a payment of £35.99 and again a month later. It has taken 2 whole days of live chats and phone calls to try and get the account cancelled. People should steer clear of this company as they are basically scam artists. - DO NOT USE RING CENTRAL FOR VOIP OR ANY OTHER SERVICE!

Faxing with Soft Phone is not supported anymore with Outlook Contacts.

Ring Central used to be great for faxing. The soft phone would populate from your Outlook address book. Very efficient. Then their focus has shifted and they are no longer interested in supporting faxing except bare bones. They are not interested in resolving the issue. Also it can take 30 minutes or more to reach someone when trying to resolve problems. Bummer, it used to be very functional and efficient. Need more words to post. More words to post, more words.... Our company is now cancelling our account. Why does a developer have to break something that is working? Just keep it going the way it was.

Ring Central unsatisfied customer!!!!

We been having dropped calls, customers who are trying to call and receive a message "this number is out of service".. This is the peak of our business and we are most likely loosing more customer than we know about!! Ring Central says it's our customers carrier and we should tell them to check with there provider! Are you kidding me???There has got to be something done about this. Every time we call not only are we on hold for like forever but we get no resolution just a run around and transferred to another person who doesn't know what they are doing.

Ringcentral purchase was a mistake

I purchased a 1 year plan 8 months ago and have had nothing but problems with the service. I've spent at least 25 hours on hold over this time and you can add more time waiting for them to call back to fix things. If your issue is standard, they can read the solution from a prompter and usually get it right, but if your issue is not standard, they are clueless and since they don't understand English, communicating the issue is extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I'll probably never know if I have lost business because of this service, but I'm guessing I have. I'm researching a replacement service and can not recommend any higher that you stay away from this company

Only 20 mins? You lucked out.

I waited 30 and got told to uninstall reinstall, like that ever fixes anything. After reading the rest of the comments poor service is the norm.

I may not even reinstall and go a head and cut them loose. How did they manage to get q 4.5 rating?
